Product Design Leader

The role of Product Design Leader is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of automotive products from concept to production
• Translate customer requirements into effective, manufacturable design solutions
• Assess design feasibility and coordinate design activities with internal teams and external suppliers
• Act as the main technical interface between customers, suppliers, CAD teams, and project stakeholders
• Drive design reviews, monitor action plans, and ensure on-time delivery of engineering milestones
• Collaborate with Project Engineering Managers to identify and implement optimal technical solutions
• Define and maintain product geometry, reference systems, and key design parameters
• Support tooling development by defining critical tuning and adjustment areas
• Review and technically validate drawings, assemblies, and engineering documentation
• Define and perform actions for part shape adaptation to achieve functional and geometrical target fulfillment during pre-production phase
• Capture lessons learned and promote best practices throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• University degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Engineering field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design of injection-molded plastic parts
• Proven ability to lead product design activities and CAD engineers
• Strong knowledge of design-for-manufacturing principles
• Experience in automotive product development environments
• High level of technical proactivity and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel as required
• Driving license B
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher)
