Product Design Leader

The role of Product Design Leader is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of automotive products from concept to production
- Translate customer requirements into effective, manufacturable design solutions
- Assess design feasibility and coordinate design activities with internal teams and external suppliers
- Act as the main technical interface between customers, suppliers, CAD teams, and project stakeholders
- Drive design reviews, monitor action plans, and ensure on-time delivery of engineering milestones
- Collaborate with Project Engineering Managers to identify and implement optimal technical solutions
- Define and maintain product geometry, reference systems, and key design parameters
- Support tooling development by defining critical tuning and adjustment areas
- Review and technically validate drawings, assemblies, and engineering documentation
- Define and perform actions for part shape adaptation to achieve functional and geometrical target fulfillment during pre-production phase
- Capture lessons learned and promote best practices throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- University degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Engineering field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design of injection-molded plastic parts
- Proven ability to lead product design activities and CAD engineers
- Strong knowledge of design-for-manufacturing principles
- Experience in automotive product development environments
- High level of technical proactivity and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to travel as required
- Driving license B
- Fluent English (B2 level or higher)
