The role of Program Specific Invest Buyer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Lozorno, Slovakia.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the sourcing process according to plant and project needs while respecting company deontology rules and targets for quality, cost, and delivery
  • Lead supplier sourcing activities in line with internal purchasing procedures and policies
  • Conduct negotiations with suppliers and internal stakeholders to secure optimal commercial and technical conditions
  • Manage the full order-to-pay process, ensuring compliance with the rules of spending authorization, proper contract setup, and timely supplier payments
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
  • Handle supplier-related issues or crises and lead problem-solving activities when required
  • Support the identification and implementation of technical cost-saving opportunities with suppliers and internal teams
  • Participate in or lead internal cross-functional working groups focused on cost optimization and process improvement
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal and environmental regulations within the purchasing scope
  • Support acquisition activities by preparing quotations for tooling or process equipment using internal cost models

 

Requirements:

  • University degree in Mechanical or Plastic Engineering, or Business with a specialization in Purchasing or Supply Chain
  • Experience with automotive tooling suppliers and process equipment sourcing is highly desirable
  • Good knowledge of the automotive industry and supplier landscape
  • Strong purchasing and supplier management knowledge
  • Experience with technical negotiations and contract management
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Basic knowledge of finance, cost control, and cash management
  • Familiarity with logistics concepts such as consignment stock, VMI, and Incoterms
  • Advanced English with strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Team-oriented, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks with a results-driven and customer-oriented mindset
