We are looking for a quality-focused and customer-oriented Project Quality Leader to ensure project teams deliver on customer expectations and quality standards throughout the product lifecycle. If you have experience in APQP, customer interface, and quality risk management – we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
• Take full ownership of project quality results and customer satisfaction
• Act as the main quality interface between project team and customer
• Independently escalate quality risks and represent customer expectations internally
• Support plant quality teams during launch and ramp-up phases
• Ensure quality processes are effectively deployed in the plant organization
• Lead APQP process and validate deliverables before customer presentation
• Identify and escalate gaps in quality deliverables
• Coordinate feedback during pre-series maturation up to customer approval
• Represent PO in customer reviews, complaints, and product quality discussions
• Ensure customer requirements are reflected in internal audits and evaluations
• Deploy Design for Quality actions during project development
• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage own development hours and support change evaluation processes
• Report quality status and risks to the Customer Quality Manager
• Communicate major quality risks at each project phase milestone
• Support change management for product/process updates requiring APQP documentation
Requirements:
• Experience in project quality management, preferably in automotive or manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of APQP and customer-specific quality requirements
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with plant quality organizations
• Familiarity with quality tools and systems (e.g. KEOPS, OPTIMAP, 8D, risk analysis)
• Excellent communication and escalation skills in customer-facing roles
• Analytical mindset and ability to identify gaps and risks in quality deliverables
• Experience in managing quality documentation and supporting change processes
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and lessons learned sharing
