Senior Commodity Buyer - Direct (Decorated Parts) - Gliwice Poland or Lozorno Slovakia

The position is based in our Exterior business group plant  in Gliwice, Poland.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Proposes the commodity strategy and manages the supply base accordingly
  • Responsible for market analysis (benchmarks, fairs, market trends, innovation...)
  • Defines and executes the budget roadmap for his/her perimeter
  • Promotes and negotiates savings and co-ordinates its deployment  
  • Leading problem solving activities for his/her supplier panel
  • Responsible for the performance of its panel in terms of compliance to Q, C, T targets

 

Requirements:

  • Business Administration with focus on Purchasing Management or Engineering Degree with strong economical understanding
  • Minimum 5 years of Experience in Commodity Management of Plastic Parts (or equivalent scope of purchased parts) in an international environment
  • Strategic thinking
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of contract management and commercial law
  • Good technical understanding
  • English fluent, German is a plus
