Senior/Supplier Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier quality activities during prototype and serial production phases.
- Work closely with the SQE team to support project quality planning and supplier quality assurance.
- Plan and oversee inspections of supplied materials and components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and follow up on corrective actions and improvement plans.
- Manage supplier complaints, lead problem-solving activities, and monitor 8D actions until closure.
- Support PPAP and production part approval processes, ensuring all supplier documentation is complete and up to date.
- Monitor supplier performance, prepare quality reports, track quality costs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Profile:
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or a similar quality-focused role.
- Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
- Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies such as VDA 6.3, IATF 16949 requirements.
- Knowledge of electronics is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with quality tools including FMEA, 8D, root cause analysis, and process audits.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work directly with suppliers.
- Fluent English.
