We are looking for a proactive and analytical Warranty & Quality Risk Specialist to manage warranty activities, support customer relations, and mitigate quality-related risks across our Clean Energy Systems operations. If you have experience in problem solving, OEM collaboration, and warranty cost analysis – we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage warranty activities and defect analysis using problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D, Weibull)
- Coordinate with Europe Warranty Manager and Customer Centers to interface with OEMs during reviews and crisis situations
- Ensure containment and corrective actions are implemented across plants and projects
- Monitor and report warranty performance using global databases and customer portals
- Support contract reviews and risk assessments during RFQ and project phases
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Corporate Warranty teams to manage cost exposure and documentation
- Lead warranty claims analysis, negotiation support, and supplier cost sharing
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving for insurance purposes
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Materials Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in automotive quality or warranty management
- Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949, APQP, and problem-solving tools
- Advanced English (German is a plus)
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
- Team spirit, customer orientation, and ability to manage complex situations
