Injection Quality Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all injection molding quality activities within the plant
• Support new product launches and engineering change implementations to ensure robust quality performance
• Drive structured problem-solving initiatives using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, and QRCM
• Ensure effective containment actions, root cause analysis, and implementation of sustainable corrective actions
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders
• Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, including PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP submissions, and Run@Rate validations
• Ensure compliance with control plans, customer requirements, and quality standards through regular process audits (Layered Process Audits, VDA 6.3, etc.)
• Monitor, analyze, and report quality KPIs while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process performance
• Lead, coach, and support quality technicians by fostering training, development, and a strong quality culture

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or HND / HNC in a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality role within an injection molding manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of automotive quality standards and customer requirements, including IATF 16949, ISO/TS standards, and TISAX
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the organization
• Dynamic and proactive personality with proven experience in quality change management
• Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, and lead individuals and cross-functional teams
• Good understanding of product and process documentation, including Control Plans, Standardized Work Instructions, and related quality documentation
• Solid knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, PSA, and Six Sigma
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proven understanding of Quality tools such as FMEA, control plan, MSA, LSA, AAR, SPC
