Mission & Responsibilities
As a Plant Buyer, you will manage all MRO and indirect purchasing activities at plant level, ensuring compliance with OP Mobility’s governance rules, purchasing policy, and legal standards.

Manage local purchasing activities and ensure compliance with internal processes.

Own and evaluate the plant supply base through annual vendor rating.

Monitor supplier risks with support from Finance (financial health, dependency rate, etc.).

Benchmark MRO costs with other plants and identify improvement opportunities.

Develop synergies with other buyers to leverage volumes and optimize costs.

Negotiate with suppliers to ensure fair competition and best total cost.

Manage RFQs, sourcing recommendations, and contract implementation.

Oversee the order-to-pay process and propose process optimizations.

Track performance through KPIs, report savings, and drive technical cost reductions.

Lead or participate in working groups focused on savings and problem-solving.
Competencies & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.

Experience: 3–5 years in purchasing, ideally in an industrial or automotive environment.

Strong negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis skills.

Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP tools.

Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.

Proactive, analytical, and results-oriented with strong communication skills.
