Job Title: Industrial Project Leader
Location: Monterrey, Mexico
Type of Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Main missions:
-
Supports and delivers the project objectives: Safety Quality, Cost, Timing, Profitability & Cash.

Supports the complete budget (investments, hours and travel expenses)

Deliver a non-event launch of the project into production
Responsibilities:
Provides the interface between plant, management and the project team
• Analysis capacity needs and propose industrial schemes supporting the strategy of the division
• Establishes and manages the master project timing plan and consolidates negotiated planning of each core team member
Responsible for organizing project meetings “Project reviews” with all core team members to review project status and project action plan follow-up.
Identifies the risks, updates and manages the action plan to reduce the risks throughout the project phases.
• Follows the project reporting of each core team member to manage the escalation process of risks and the progress of their project actions.
• Provides periodic reporting to the Director of Programs highlighting the key project progress and risks.
• Prepares and presents the ‘milestones’ reports to the OPTIPRO Milestone committee
• At the end of the project determines the status against the original project objectives and feeds back lessons learned.
Desired Profile:

Bachelor of Engineering or Science or Business School

Strong experience in management of industrial projects.
- Ability to work in an international context, masters 1 or 2 languages Good communication skills, proactive, collaborative, analytical mind
- Minimum of 3 years in Project management
