Missions

Develop and manage partnerships with suppliers based on new transport management strategy, ensuring end-to-end supply chain efficiency, transportation readiness and delivery performance

Drive operational transport excellence, reduce risk and support on-time, in-full delivery of BOM materials
-
Ensure transport-ready supplier capabilities respecting transportation & packaging requirements

Implement collaborative transport frameworks with BOM suppliers
-
Resolve transport issues proactively and ensure service continuity.

Deliver against performance ambitions & KPI improvement in on-time delivery, cost, CO2 and all other Performance indicators of the 360 degrees-performance dashboards
Activities
Supplier Onboarding & Readiness
-
Support transport and packaging requirements definition with programs, purchasing, plants, and TCC operations.

Validate lead times, ship-from locations, and Incoterms for transport feasibility.

Prepare onboarding plans and documentation for TCC and TMS processes.

Guide suppliers through onboarding and ensure compliance with operational standard.
Performance Monitoring & Risk Management
-
Track supplier performance (e.g., portal adoption, transport/packaging compliance).

Identify and mitigate transport-related risks during implementation.
-
Develop and execute contingency plans.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
-
Lead joint improvement projects with suppliers focused on transport KPIs.

Drive initiatives for cost savings, CO₂ reduction, and packaging/load efficiency.

Provide regular updates to TCC and Supply Chain leadership.

Ensure adherence to SCM policies and local regulations.
-
Manage escalated issues and support resolution.
Competencies requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or equivalent professional experience in automotive industry
-
5-7 years' experience in Automotive and/or Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing

Experience in managing Material Suppliers,
-
Deep understanding of Supplier & TCC integration (also TMS related)

Experience in handling change request and incident escalations effectively

Proficiency in managing SLAs, KPIs and continues improvement initiatives

Good understanding of ERP / TMS systems,

Strong people management capabilities (motivating, developing, taking care of and directing people, organizing people’s work)
