Position Title: Quality Methods Engineer
Location: Monterrey, Mexico
Contract Details: Full-time, permanent
Main Responsibilities:
o Set up and continuously update plant contingency plan.Make sure that they are understood and applied
o Calculate required capacity and anticipate equipment modification and capacity adjustments
o Set up and continuously update work instruction for operators. Make sure that they are understood and applied
o Set up and continuously update manufacturing Time studies . Make sure that this process is standardized
For New products
Define and submit to MPL, Capex requested for integration of new project in line with Plant industrial strategy
Set up Pre serial organization in the OP plant or SILS. Make sure that production of pre-series is done according customer requirement.
Collect relevant inputs and submit them during Project Lesson learned led by MPL
Organize and coordinate new equipment and processes trials in the plant in line with commissioning plan with target to have acceptance (Provisional and final)
Provide to operation team new equipment documentation
Propose the right technical solutions improving manufacturing performance : productivity, quality, safety, availability
Lead activities required by Engineering change request in the plant ( Product and/or Process )
Desired Profile:
Engineering- degree required
Good command of English + local language
Automotive industry and Lean Manufacturing adequate background
Open for young engineer graduate or Technician with former experience in Quality as trainee or intern (VIE)
Time study, Auto cad, and process flow knowledge helpful
Team player, effective leadership, self-determined in approach to tasks, systematic and disciplined approach to activities
