Responsabilities:

 

 

  • ECAD Electronic Engineer is member of project team (electronics, optical, mechanical construction, quality etc.)

  • He cooperates with the other members of the electronics development team - PDTL, HW, SW MCAD engineer, component engineer, Quality assurance.

  • As team member he/she is responsible for design, validation developed product - PCB (Printed Circuit Boards) electronics of lamps.

  • Responsible to help project team to reach project goal - supply customer with robust, validated and reliable product in requested time, quality and price.  

  • Designs Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) according to customer and internal requirements, participate on technical design reviews, communicates with engineers from other departments.

  • Search for cost saving solutions.         

  • Makes design robust to fulfill EMC requirements and includes design guidelines and results from EMC reviews into design (schematics, layout, 3D model, CAE thermal analysis).

  • Lays out PCB based on inputs of HW and MCAD engineer (e.g. current/track and routing, ESD and EMC requirements, test points, location of components, mechanical stress)."          

  • Support customer reviews and meetings, sample preparation, product launch and warranty analysis (analysis, reports).

  • Support reviews and meetings with supplier, solve his engineering queries and proposals to PCB design regarding to feasibility, tolerances keeping and cost impact.

  • He is a domain expert in the PCB design area.

  • Executes review of the most complex PCB designs (following design rules from view of feasibility, EMC/EMI, DGL/LL and company standards, proposals for cost saving). Participates on PCB design technical review with experts from other teams from meeting EMC/EMI requirements point of view.

  • In a case of tests failure (EMC/EMI, thermal, environmental, etc.) or other design issues he investigates a route cause and proposes solution for PCB design optimization and issues fixation.

  • Cooperates and share information with international team. Cooperates and solve issues. 

  • Works according to VEDS process, creates specification and drawings. He is responsible for continuing improvement of VEDS process, he works according to company standards and processes.

  • Works on other tasks given by supervisor if not in contradiction with the original job description                                                            

  • During the work, respects all rules given for Health and Safety protection, Fire protection and all internal rules and legislative norms.             

 

 

Education Requirements:

 

•    Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics or Mechanical (Preferred)
or Secondary school with graduation in electrical/mechanical and with 5 years of experience in automotive (Optional)

 

Experience Requirements:


English on intermediate level (B2)    
Experience with PCB design and technology
Experience with Altium Designer or similar tools
Knowledge of electronics circuits and LED problematic
EMC/EMI problematic in PCB design
