Main Responsibilities

 

  • Lead materials planning and procurement activities specifically for New Product Launches, ensuring timely availability of components and packaging materials required for new programs.
  • Ensure the correct supply of materials to assembly lines, selecting appropriate materials according to production schedules established in the CMMS system, and verify that required packaging standards are met.
  • Provide materials to production lines in compliance with the company’s quality standards.
  • Supervise the receiving area and ensure staff perform their duties according to established procedures.
  • Maintain effective inventory control by following FIFO practices, ensuring accurate tracking of first-in/first-out materials.
  • Fulfill requests and follow instructions from Production Control Analysts.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Quality, and Production—to support successful NPI execution..

 

Profile Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in materials planning and procurement, ideally within environments that manage New Product Launches.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Understanding of the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process and its application in the automotive industry.
  • English: Conversational level.
