  • Bachelor’s degree in packaging design or equivalent professional experience in automotive industry

 

  • 5-7  years' experience in automotive packaging and/or Transportation Management with experience in project management

 

  • Understanding of packaging standards in automotive
  • Understanding of packaging design & packaging validation process
  • Business case management experience
  • Understanding of automotive supply chain processes,
  • Basics knowledge of 3D design SW tools, e.g. Catia

Missions

  • Lead packaging and flow optimization initiatives to reduce transport costs, enhance efficiency, and ensure seamless collaboration across suppliers, customers, and plant operations.
  • Main deliverables
  • Define and execute packaging and flow optimization projects with clear action plans
  • Build and present business cases for leadership approval
  • Deliver against performance ambitions & KPI improvement in on-time delivery, cost, CO2 and all other Performance indicators of the 360 degrees-performance dashboards

 

Activities

  • Analyze packaging flows to identify inefficiencies and non-value-added activities
  • Assess packaging performance & efficiency (damage rates, load density, stackability, foldability etc.)
  • Propose packaging flow & design improvements, considering material protection, handling, stackability and transport cost
  • Lead the implementation of flow and packaging optimization projects,
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and engineers to prototype and validate solutions
  • Update SOPs and handling guidelines to reflect improvements
  • Collaboration and contribution to create a packaging catalog and/ or unique database
