SAP Key User (MM)

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Act as the primary SAP Key User for Supply Chain operations, ensuring efficient system utilization and process compliance.
  • Support and optimize SAP processes related to Materials Management (MM), with a strong focus on MRP (Material Requirements Planning) execution and control.
  • Manage, review, and maintain MRP parameters such as lot sizing, safety stock, reorder points, lead times, procurement types, and planning strategies to ensure material availability and inventory optimization.
  • Manage and maintain material master data and item parameterization, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Engineering teams to improve operational performance and system effectiveness.
  • Analyze supply chain and manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices within SAP.
  • Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training for SAP-related issues across the plant and supply chain functions.
  • Participate in system enhancements, testing activities, process standardization initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Monitor planning and inventory parameters to optimize stock levels, minimize shortages, and support production continuity.
  • Serve as a liaison between business users and IT teams for SAP-related requirements, issue resolution, and process improvements.

 

Required Profile

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in factory operations, manufacturing, and supply chain environments, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP MM (Materials Management) and a solid understanding of MRP planning and execution processes.
  • Proven experience managing and optimizing MRP parameters, item/material parameterization and material master data maintenance within SAP.
  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Experience supporting end users, driving SAP adoption, and translating business requirements into system solutions.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, procurement, production planning, and supply chain operations is highly desirable.
