SITE MANUFACTURING AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Main missions:

Follows the Support Optimap/Optipro project development including AVP phases Support operations in case of technical major/new issue 

Ensures consistent knowledge sharing and transfer by participating in Automation & Robotic networks

 

Responsibilities:

Applies and promotes application of HSE and quality policies and procedures including: 

PLC & robot & HMI program risk analysis 

Follow up and promote HSE validation  

 

Assistance to operations: 

Supports operations in case of major or new issue on assembly processes/equipment, including: 

Automation audit on equipment/cell 

Supplier robotic/plc/hmi program modification 

Robot/automation program ADJUSTMENT during tuning  phase/retrofit/re-use 

Participates in operations productivity workshops. 

 

Customer/Industrial projects activities: 

Validates technical feasibility of robotics aspects and participate to design for manufacturing if required. 

Supports the definition of equipment specifications & supplier sourcing 

Supports the validation and commissioning of robotized applications following development of robotic equipment standard (functional analysis, validation plan , project report and so on) 

Ensures methodological and technical standards are applied in all the projects 

Consolidates lessons learnt from the projects into metier best practices and standards 

 

Metier activities: 

Contribute to Automation & Robotic network activities linked to central roadmap. 

Participate during definition/ define of technical standards,  

Industrializes validated solutions, 

 

Knowledge sharing activities: 

Dispense Automation & Robotic Basic training inside the division . 

Trains new PPA, MPM, EPM… regarding development of robotic equipment standard. 

 

Desired Profile:

Engineering Technician with experience or Engineering Master degree in Automatism and Robotics 

 

Advanced experience in robotics and automatism  

Previous experience in an international context preferred.  

Previous experience in the automotive sector is an added advantage 

 

3+ years of experience as Robotic or PLC specialist 

Knowledge of SIEMENS PLC and FANUC ROBOT 

Project management skills 

Leadership, able to make clear synthesis, organized, rigorous, team player and good communication. 

Fluent English required. 

Ability to make decision and asses technical solution on his field 

Good communication and pedagogical skills  

Ability to plan, organize and prioritize
