Profile :

  • BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • Strong background in automotive lighting systems, Structural management, and product development
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in thermal design and simulation, specifically using ANSA, NX. Nastran and LS-dyna
  • Perform structural simulations of automotive lighting components and assemblies under static, dynamic vibration, and impact loading.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive lighting
  • Use ANSA for meshing and pre-processing of complex geometries
  • Conduct linear static, modal, and frequency response analyses in NX Nastran to evaluate strength, stiffness, and resonance.
  • Simulate non-linear analyses such as drop, impact, crash, and thermal-stress interactions using LS-DYNA or NX, Nastran based on need.
  • Correlate simulation models with physical test results (e.g., Static, vibration, impact testing).
  • Prepare clear documentation of simulation setup, methodology, results, and recommandations.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM and regulatory requirements for mechanical performance and durability.
  • Participate in DFMEA, DVP&R, and design reviews of lighting systems.
  • Support validation activities including setting up test plans, instrumentation, and data analysis.
  • Document technical findings and present results to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, testing, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Analyze simulation results and propose design modifications to meet performance, durability, and safety standards.
  • Develop and validate models through experimental testing and correlation.
  • Perform Structural analysis of automotive lighting systems using ANSA, NX. Nastran and LS-dyna
