Profile :

  • BE/ME in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • Strong background in automotive lighting systems, thermal management, and product development
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in thermal design and simulation, specifically using Simcenter FLOEFD.
  • Strong proficiency with Simcenter FLOEFD (or similar CFD tools like FloTHERM, ANSYS Icepak).
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive lighting systems (LEDs, optics, thermal challenges).
  • Experience with heat transfer modeling, including conduction, convection, and radiation.
  • Hands-on experience with lab thermal testing and validation.
  • Understanding of relevant automotive standards (e.g., SAE, ISO, OEM specs).
  • Participate in DFMEA, DVP&R, and design reviews for thermal aspects of lighting systems.
  • Support thermal validation activities including setting up test plans, instrumentation, and data analysis.
  • Document technical findings and present results to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

  • Design and optimize thermal solutions for LED modules, PCBs, heat sinks, enclosures, and other components
  • Work closely with mechanical, optical, and electrical teams to ensure optimal thermal integration across product designs.
  • Analyze simulation results and propose design modifications to meet performance, durability, and safety standards.
  • Develop and validate thermal models through experimental testing and correlation.
  • Perform thermal analysis and simulation of automotive lighting systems using Simcenter FLOEFD
