Site Quality Customer Engineer

Main Responsibilities
- Investigate customer complaints, quality concerns, and identified product issues.
- Initiate and coordinate containment and corrective actions, ensuring effective communication of quality breakpoints and resolutions.
- Identify root causes and determine the responsible process, department, supplier, or stakeholder.
- Review and manage non-conforming materials in accordance with established quality procedures.
- Ensure the proper return and handling of customer-owned racks and packaging.
- Collect, maintain, and analyze customer quality-related information and documentation.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers, understanding their requirements and quality expectations.
- Provide timely updates, follow-up, and feedback regarding customer requests, concerns, and corrective action progress.
- Perform visual inspections to verify compliance with customer specifications and product requirements.
- Monitor and verify sequence numbers, traceability records, and product identification at all times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer satisfaction and drive continuous quality improvement.
Required Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of quality documentation, manufacturing processes, and quality management systems.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with automotive OEM customers such as Stellantis, Ford, General Motors (GM), Volkswagen (VW), and other major manufacturers.
- Solid experience using problem-solving methodologies, primarily 8D methodology.
- Effective communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- English proficiency is a must.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability and willingness to travel as required (Mexico and USA)
