Main Responsibilities

 

  • Participates in multidisciplinary teams focused on reducing injection cycle time and leads or supports functional improvements to molds.
  • Participates in the validation of injection tool concepts and provides technical proposals to improve project targets such as quality, cost, and lead time.
  • Contributes added value through innovative technical solutions and uses departmental database tools daily.
  • Manages spare parts inventory for the tooling workshop.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of machinery and equipment used in the area.
  • Follows established procedures and work instructions and creates or updates work instructions or procedures when necessary.
  • Ensures the development and continuous follow-up of the training plan for technicians.
  • Ensures proper incoming inspection of molds according to OPmobility mold standards, verifying that molds arrive in the required condition and meet all specifications.
  • Defines and ensures compliance with KPIs such as MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTTB (Mean Time Between Breakdowns).
  • Contributes to the consolidation, maintenance, and promotion of the technical information catalog.
  • Supports optimization of the mold shop layout.
  • Documents lessons learned, including best practices and issues encountered, and communicates them to the Injection & Tooling Expertise Group.

 

Required Profile

 

  • Engineering degree is essential.
  • Conversational English is required.
  • Relevant technical experience in plastic injection molds maintenance and repairing (multicolor mold experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in CATIA, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD 2D is required.
