You will be responsible for managing the commercial activities of an assigned project within an OEM or Tier 1 customer account /or for developing new business opportunities with an assigned customer, within the Exterior & Lighting business.
You will manage customer relationships and commercial activities for your assigned perimeter, working closely with Engineering, Program Management, Plants, Quality, Finance, R&D and Marketing to ensure successful project execution and profitable business development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the commercial activities of an assigned project within an OEM or Tier 1 customer account and/or develop new business opportunities with an assigned customer.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts and Purchasing Centers.
- Prepare and coordinate commercial offers, including pricing, tooling and Design & Development costs, in collaboration with internal teams.
- Contribute to the definition of commercial strategies and lead customer negotiations within the assigned perimeter.
- Follow up on pricing evolution, commercial conditions and profitability throughout the project and serial life.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Program Management, Plants, Quality, Finance, R&D and Marketing to ensure effective customer and project management.
Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
- From 5 to 10 years of experience in Sales, Account Management
- Proven experience with customer management, RFQs, quotations and commercial negotiations.
- Understanding of pricing, margins, profitability and financial performance.
- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded, with the ability to identify business opportunities and assess risks.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and international environment.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Automotive background (OEM or Tier 1) is a plus, but we're also open to candidates from adjacent industries.
- Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel.
