- Job Title : Site Manufacturing Production Supervision Technician
- Type of contract : Long-term At-will
- Expected Hiring Date : September 2026
- Scope : Site- Huron
Responsibilities :
- Safety
- Must comply with and enforce all safety rules and regulations
- Work with EHS Specialist as needed
- Properly report and document safety incidents
- Perform Top Safety Audits on a regular basis and escalate safety concerns appropriately
- Production
- Ensure production goals are achieved in order to meet delivery windows
- Quality standards are met
- Continuous Improvement actions are developed, supported, and completed
- Responsibility and authority to stop production and shipments, and ensuring conformity to product requirements.
- Compliance
- Quality System compliance, including IATF-16949, ISO-14001, and OHSAS18001.
- AAR – Hourly Production staff
- Consistent enforcement of company policies and procedures as well as the CBA
- Employee Relations
- Provide clear and concise communication/direction to team members
- Facilitate associate communication
- Address and facilitate employee relations/problem solving activities
- Enforce standards of positive recognitions, discipline and behavior to create a safe working environment
- Training
- Ensure training plan is achieved to have minimal impact to line efficiency
- Ensure employees have the proper/updated training certifications required (Line OJT, Line Recertification, LOTO, etc.)
- Must successfully complete all required training

- Requirements
- Authority and responsibility to stop production when a quality or safety issue arises
- Work requires walking, talking, seeing, hearing, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Work requires working under high and low temperatures at certain times
Ideal Candidate Profile :
- Personal Background
- Associates Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of manufacturing experience in a lean environment
- Leadership experience including accountability for the performance of direct reports
- Experience working in a Union represented facility
- Job Technical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of blow molding process and/or the extrusion or injection of plastic material o Knowledge of assembly process, preferable with Blow Molded fuel systems
