Automation Specialist

 

Responsibilities:

• Analysis and modification of PLC, HMI programs and peripheral devices (Siemens, Beckhoff)

• Programming industrial robots (KUKA, ABB)

• Cooperation with the technology and production departments in solving technical problems with machines

• Modifications to the control of production machines

• Technical support for the technology department

• Diagnostics and repair of industrial automation systems

• Conducting preventive inspections of machines and devices in accordance with TPM principles

• Removing current faults and failures of production lines

• Diagnostics of the causes of machine and equipment downtime

• Conducting risk assessment of processes and tasks in the department

• Reporting results to the Change Leader

• Active participation in the implementation and maintenance of systems such as 5S, TPM, SMED and others

• Performs other activities in accordance with the supervisor's instructions that do not conflict with the scope of duties of the position

• Complies with occupational health and safety, fire protection and work regulations

 

Requirements:

• Ability for stationary work in production plant on site, in Niemce city (Poland)

• Native speaker - polish language

• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a maintenance department or related department (preferred in an automotive  industry)

• Knowledge of the principles of TPM, SMED, 5S, Lean Manufacturing

• SEP authorizations up to 1kV

• Ability to program PLC controllers (Siemens, Beckhoff)

• Ability to operate industrial robots (KUKA, ABB)

• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics control

• Ability to read and use technical documentation

• Ability to diagnose the causes of faults and failures

• Ability to solve problems analytically

• Ability to work in a team, commitment, willingness to self-educate
