In this role, you will be responsible for preparing technical manufacturing cost calculations for customer RFQs and capacity planning. You will work mainly with SMT/PCBA/assembly products. You will be collaborating with cross function teams e.g. Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing.


The role of Manufacturing Engineer (Capacity Planning & Quotation) is based in our Plant in Niemce, Poland.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer RFQ/RnD packages (requirements, drawings, standards, volumes).
  • Evaluate project feasibility (according to VDA 6.3).
  • Collaborate with Sales, Process Engineering, Production, R&D, Technology, Packaging, and other internal teams.
  • Prepare manufacturing cost calculations: cycle times, equipment/tooling costs, headcount.
  • Create documentation required for sales quotations.
  • Support Sales during technical discussions with customers and propose alternative solutions.
  • Perform short- and long-term capacity calculations for SMT and final assembly lines.

 

Requirements:

  • Engineering/Master’s degree in a technical field
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, Automotive preferred.
  • Practical experience with SMT line equipment will be an added value (laser, solder paste printing, inspection, pick & place, reflow, AOI).
  • Very good MS Office skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Basic AutoCAD skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Strong planning, organization, time management, and goal-oriented approach.
  • Ability to share and transfer knowledge.
