We are looking for a Process Optimization Engineer to join our team and drive improvements on the main assembly line. This role focuses on analyzing production performance, optimizing process parameters, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic automotive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize production processes on the main assembly line through analysis and modification of process parameters.
- Create and update technological documentation (work instructions, parameter sheets, visual aids).
- Analyze micro-downtime on assembly machines and identify root causes.
- Monitor and analyze assembly line performance (OEE).
- Conduct PFMEA to assess potential failure modes and their effects.
- Investigate mechanical downtimes and failures on assembly lines.
- Analyze component/product rejects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide support for metallization and painting processes.
Profile
- Minimum secondary education; preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology or mechanical engineering.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in MS Office and Windows.
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and achieve goals.
- Strategic thinking and quality orientation.
- Ability to provide feedback and share knowledge.
