The role of R&D Cost & Performance Controlling Leader is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic.

Responsibilities:

• Lead performance, cost, and process optimization across engineering and development projects
• Ensure compliance with project, development, and cost deployment processes
• Perform Value Stream Mapping (VSM), gap analysis, and identify improvement opportunities
• Drive product, process, and waste reduction initiatives
• Follow up monthly with Pillar Leaders and consolidate performance data
• Investigate and implement new performance improvement initiatives
• Prepare and present reports for committee and management meetings
• Develop and maintain accurate reporting, dashboards, and data visualizations (PowerBI, AI tools, etc.)
• Support costing, budgeting, and savings tracking activities
• Apply problem-solving methodologies and ensure sustainable corrective actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related Technical Engineering field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial and/or technical roles
• Strong understanding of automotive product design and manufacturing processes
• Experience in Automotive Tier 1 / Tier 2 environment is an advantage
• Knowledge of finance best practices, GAAP standards, and accounting rules
• Experience with SAP and advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and business case calculation skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver results without close supervision
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English
