The role of Country Controlling Leader is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate financial reports at the country level, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Lead month-end close, forecasts, and budget processes.
- Provide financial guidance and coaching to plant, R&D, and SG&A controllers.
- Review variances, drive root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions.
- Organize weekly financial reviews with operational teams and ensure objectives are met.
- Manage standard costing processes and enforce internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and corporate accounting standards.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Drive improvements in SAP processes and financial workflows.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and presentations for leadership.
Requirements:
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Plant Controller.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), strong expertise in SAP.
- English on upper-intermediate level, Czech language is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
- Business acumen with the confidence to challenge peers and leaders when needed.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
