The role of EMC Test Technician is based in our Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín.

Responsibilities:

• Guarantees technical level of EMC testing in accordance with ISO 17025, performs testing in accordance with customer technical specifications and test plan
• prepares report within the scope of ISO 17025 accreditation and outside the scope of accreditation too
• cooperates on creation and updating of documentation according to ISO 17025 (especially laboratory rules, quality manual, maintenance plan, working instructions, validation instructions)
• conducts professional EMC training, performs EMC measurement
• maintains the equipment which is a part of EMC laboratory and used for internal testing, updates Firmware and Software in equipment, updates norms according to the latest customer specifications
• follows the changes in technical specifications and in customer requirements dedicated to EMC area testing, checks if SW and FW used in the equipment is up-to-date
• participates in customer audits of the EMC laboratory and takes corrective actions
• can perform a shared metrologist function within ISO 17025              

Requirements:

• Minimum apprenticeship with a high school diploma in the field of electrical engineering
• Practice in the field of EMC issues, work with EMC testing equipment and experience with EMC measurements
• Knowledge of EMC standards CISPR25, CISPR 16, ISO 11452, ISO 10605, ISO 16750, ISO 7367, knowledge of technologies for performing EMC testing in the automotive sector. Orientation in the field of ISO 17025
• English language at intermediate level (B1)
• Certificate according to NV 194/2022
• Independence, organizational skills and time management
