The role of Electronics Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic.
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative electronics concepts and conduct technology scouting for automotive lighting applications.
- Design and review electronic circuits and components in opto-electronic assemblies.
- Define electronic architectures and systems according to internal and customer requirements.
- Build prototypes and perform functional tests in the electronics laboratory.
- Coordinate interfaces with optics, thermal, mechanical, and software teams.
- Collaborate with departments such as series development, manufacturing, and purchasing.
- Communicate innovation topics with customers, suppliers, and external experts.
- Represent the company at technical conferences with presentations, publications, or articles.
- Support technological leadership by tackling new challenges and advancing innovation.
Requirements:
- University degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in electronic hardware design and development, including use of Altium or similar tools.
- Knowledge of electronics and system hardware development, EMC-compliant design, and thermal management.
- Experience with schematic design tools (Altium, Mentor Graphics, OrCAD, etc.).
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping; programming experience with MCU or FPGA is an advantage.
- Strong English skills (B2 or higher, written and spoken).
- Relevant certification (e.g., Notice 50 §6 or equivalent).
- Independent, hands-on, and solution-oriented working style with strong team orientation.
- Willingness to travel abroad when required.
