The role of HW Electronics Engineer in based in our Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín.

 

Responsibilities:

  • The HW engineer designs, analyzes and verifies electronic circuits that are created in accordance with customer specifications and requirements. Collaborates with other members of the electronics development team, such as PDTL, SW engineers, ECAD/MCAD engineers, quality engineers
  • Analyzes requirements and creates schematics in Altium software in accordance with standards that include hardware blocks, components, EMC rules, materials, etc.
  • Maintains and analyzes the electronics BOM, makes adjustments according to production requirements and preferred suppliers.
  • Creates a robust design proposal that meets EMC requirements, while taking into account design rules and based on the results of previous EMC results and reviews (schematics, layout)
  • Performs design simulation using tools designed for this purpose (Orcad, LTspice).
  • Creates and maintains the so-called Worst Case Analysis (WCCA) with complete clarification of functionality, tolerances and simulations
  • Supports the implementation of HW unit tests and HW integration tests according to HSIS and SYIN documents and collaborates on the creation of the report. Supports the implementation of EMC tests within the framework of Pre-DV and DV tests.
  • Defines constraints for creating layouts (e.g. current load of paths and their routing, ESD and EMC requirements, test points, component placement, mechanical stress) and collaborates with a member of the ECAD team.

 

Requirements:

  • University education in electrical engineering
  • English at a communicative level
  • Knowledge of HW circuits and LED issues
  • Knowledge of Altium, Menthor Graphics, OrCAD, etc.
  • Knowledge of simulation tools such as LT Spice
