The role of Lean Manager is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín.

Responsibilities:

• Participation in creation of a new Manufacturing System
• Deployment of the Manufacturing System in the plant
• Standardization of process & operations and performance reporting
• Cost deployment analysis and department budget monitoring
• Deployment of lean manufacturing tools, for problem solving, workplace organization, maintenance, material flow optimization etc.
• Initiation of optimization workshops
• Promotion of Kaizen and employee suggestion system
• Consolidation of reports and follow up of improvement plans
• Deployment of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement culture
• Participate in the strategic planning and audits
• Monitor plant whiteboards and assembly line cycle times
• Manage the Lean Manufacturing Academy

Requirements:

• University degree in technical field (e.g. engineering, automatization industrial management,…)
• At least 3 years of experience on similar position within automotive company
• Knowledge of lean methodology and principles (5S, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, Kanban,…)
• Czech/Slovak language – advanced and English – upper-intermediate
• Advanced communication skills
• Self-motivated person with ability to complete tasks to the end
• Attention to detail and ability to see things in context
