The role of Optics Engineer is based in our Lighting business group in Nový Jičín next to Ostrava. The seniority of this role and scope of responsibilities might be adjusted to candidate´s experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Optical Engineer is a member of a cross-functional project team. As a team member he/she is responsible in terms of his/her specialization for fulfillment of project objectives
• Develops optical concepts for innovative products with regards to feasibility, cost and lifespan.                                   
• Prepares and performs presentations to customers and suppliers
• Responsible to develop technical solution without infringing of existing non-OPmobility Intellectual properties.
• Actively communicates with both OPmobility experts and external ones. seeks for innovation opportunities, cost optimizations and actively supports their execution.

Requirements:

• University degree in Optical Engineering/Physics
• At least 2 years of experience with similar position preferably in automotive industry
• Experience with leading projects
• Knowledge of English language (B1, B2)
• Knowledge of MS Office + Catia
• Basic knowledge of programming advantageous
• Driving License B
