The role of Optics Engineer is based in our Exterior & Lighting Business Group in Nový Jičín, Czech Republic.

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the design of optical functions of lighting products using CAD programs
• Responsibility for the photometric quality of the given product
• Cooperation in evaluating and maintaining the optical quality of products
• Solving operational tasks related to customer requirements
• Participating in the preparation of calculations for new products, presenting products at the customer's premises
   

Requirements:

• University degree in a technical field (physical disciplines, optics, optoelectronics)
• Awareness of optics issues, knowledge of the physical properties and laws of light
• Knowledge of 3D modeling is an advantage (Catia, Pro Engineer, Inventor, etc.), knowledge of LightTools is an advantage
• Experience with automotive front lighting systems and legal regulations like ECE R149, FMVSS108 will be an added value
• English language at intermediate level
• Driving license B, willingness to travel
