The Scrum Master leads a group of SW engineers to build and deliver software work products in line with required timing, process, quality and cost (project budget). He coaches the project Agile team and educates the principles of Scrum, Built-in-Quality, Kanban, to ensure that the agreed Agile processes are followed.

 Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach the software development team using Scrum methodology

• Plan, manage, and control software projects to meet scope, quality, budget (OPEX/CAPEX), timeline, and resource targets through effective estimation, tracking, and change management

• Align software delivery with overall project and product goals by closely coordinating with the Product Line Manager, Program Manager, and cross‑functional teams (hardware, electronics, optics, mechanics, manufacturing)

•  Own backlog and release planning by aligning software features with project milestones, setting priorities, maintaining a release roadmap, and validating booked vs. actual effort in SAP

•  Ensure compliance with automotive standards and processes, including ASPICE, ISO 26262, Cyber Security, internal OPnSoft processes, and supporting software audits and continuous process improvement

• Provide technical leadership and expertise in embedded software technologies, tools, standards, and manufacturing integration

•  Support customer and business development activities by maintaining strong customer relationships, delivering high‑quality technical results, and contributing to effort estimation, cost analysis, and technical presentations during quotations

• Manage resources and organizational alignment by planning team capacity, overseeing workload and skills requirements, and supporting new business wins and long‑term capability development

 

Requirements:

• Master’s or Diploma degree in Electronics (or equivalent) and several years of relevant professional experience

• Strong background in embedded software development (preferably in lighting or electrification systems), with very good C programming skills

• Hands-on experience with embedded hardware and communication protocols, including microcontroller-based systems and integration of CAN and LIN bus software components; AUTOSAR knowledge is a plus

• Leadership experience in Agile environments

• Knowledge of automotive quality and safety standards, including demonstrated involvement in ASPICE assessments and preferably ISO 26262 compliance

• Experience with cybersecurity for embedded software applications and familiarity with secure development practices

• Proficiency with development, verification, and lifecycle tools, such as PLM systems (e.g., IBM RTC, MKS, PTC), modeling and testing tools, MISRA compliance tools, and basic build automation (e.g., Jenkins)

• Strong communication skills, including very good English proficiency, with willingness to travel as required (valid driving license)
