As the Finance Manager of the Pfastatt plant and the two supplier sites , you play a key role in managing the financial performance of the plant across two product lines: fuel tanks and batteries. You are responsible for the reliability of financial data and its analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
You report directly to the Plant Director and work closely with operational teams. As a true business partner, you support the site management in steering the site’s financial performance and achieving its targets. You also supervise a Cost Controller, whom you guide in daily tasks and professional development.
Industrial Controlling:

Monitoring production costs by product line and project

Analyzing variances (actual vs. budget/forecast – DASH)

Analyzing material margin by product
-
Calculating and updating standard cost prices
-
Monitoring financial and operational KPIs
Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Responsible for monthly closings for both product lines across two separate legal entities

Submission of financial data into group systems (HFM & OPIUM), in compliance with group requirements

Responsible for budget construction and strategic planning
Support to Plant Management:

Assisting operational managers in understanding their financial results
-
Proposing corrective actions to improve profitability

Acting as a business partner to the plant leadership and key functions to guide strategic and operational decisions
Internal Control & Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with financial procedures and accounting standards

Participating in internal and external audits
Team Management:
-
Supervision and leadership of a Cost Controller
-
Task allocation, performance tracking, and skill development

Promoting a culture of discipline, analysis, and collaboration within the finance team
Profile
-
Higher education in Finance or Management Control (Master’s degree, Business School, or equivalent).

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial controlling, ideally within the automotive industry.

Proficiency in reporting tools (advanced Excel, SAP, Power BI, etc.).

Fluency in English is a plus.

Strong ability to synthesize complex data.

Analytical mindset, attention to detail, autonomy, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
