Scope of Activity (E-Power) : Battery packs, electronics, and power electronics for heavy mobility and light vehicles
Localisation : Pfastatt
Missions
• Lead the quality management for external suppliers and handle non-conformities
• Organize incoming inspections of supplied parts and apply controls based on supplier performance
• Participate in the qualification of supplier processes for new products and the acceptance of initial samples
• Monitor and audit supplier action plans to ensure continuous improvement
• Manage deviations and non-conformities from suppliers in collaboration with internal teams (Engineering, Quality, Production)
• Inform the teams immediately when defective parts are shipped and implement corrective actions (additional inspections, shipment control)
• Follow the 8D process to ensure corrective actions from suppliers are properly implemented
• Ensure cost recovery related to supplier claims in collaboration with the finance team
• Train operators in identifying defects in incoming goods
• Participate in supplier audits and escalation meetings to improve product and process quality
Profile
• Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics
• 2 years of experience in the automotive or a similar sector
• Process auditor certification (VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and experience with OEMs or railway manufacturers preferred
• Proficient in quality tools (APQP, FMEA, etc.), blueprint reading, and GD&T
• Fluent in English and French, with expertise in Office Suite and SAP
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
