Main Missions:
§ In accordance with the Business Group, customers and international standards (ISO/TS, IATF…), develops and maintains the plant’s IMS (integrated management system)
§ Together with the HSE Engineer and Management maintain HSE within the IMS.
§ Coordinates the internal audit planning and internal audits (System, process, product).
§ Utilizes the Internal system audit NC tool (e-Solve). Monitors and reports progress in NCN closure. Analyses the internal audit results at least annually as input to the management review process.
§ Supports the plant quality training process using Exterior & Lighting University approach
Activities:
1.0 System management and audits
· Manage the quality system in the plant (facilitator and auditor)
· Ensure that changes to the Exterior & Lighting divisional IMS system; including policy, objectives, procedures, process descriptions, work instructions, POMS quality methodologies and standards are deployed locally by the Plant management team in cooperation with the CI department.
· Organize and leads plant internal audits (time schedule and carrying out) in cooperation with the regional IMS Leader and BG.
· Prepare the site for external audits and follow up relevant action plans and where necessary liaises with the external certifying bodies.
· Manage the quality system documentation (update, file, evolution and archive)
· Follows-up on system audit NC’s, reports progress, helps the auditees to identify root causes.
· Monitors completion deadlines.
· Organize the plants process reviews and Annual mid-year Management Review, provide system improvement recommendations from the Plant to Regional Quality.
· Manages the Layered process audit system for the Plant.
· Manages and improves the IMS and OEM specific Documentation system.
· Support QRCM process in the plant
2.0 Continuous improvement and training
· Train the plant people on the quality system and quality tools as available in the Exterior & Lighting university. Be identified as Local Trainer for key quality training materials provided by the Central Quality Team.
· Participate in the Quality Improvement Roadmap Assessment process together with the Plant CI department.
· Lead or participates in improvement teams as required per customers, production or quality manager
· Participate in the E&L Quality initiatives. 3.0 Archiving of quality records (process and product inspection)
· Ensure that the archiving of critical information as required by law or the customer is managed effectively in the Plant. This includes electronic and paper copies.
· Ensure that certain product and process characteristics are retrievable in the event of an issue where historical evidence of conformity is needed.
4.0 Other
· Ensure that access is maintained for those responsible to regularly access Customer portals.
· Maintain the Quality Mindset.
