Purchasing Business Process Leader

The role of Purchasing Business Process Leader is based in our C-Power business Group in Pitesti, Romania. 

Responsibilities

• Own key Purchasing and Supplier Quality processes and ensure their effective implementation across the organization
• Maintain, update, and improve operating procedures, instructions, standards, and process documentation
• Ensure consistency of workflows and SAP data across plants and regions
• Organize regular process reviews and follow up on improvement action plans
• Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Support the development and improvement of Purchasing digital tools and systems
• Contribute to the development and improvement of Purchasing digital tools and systems, including the TEMPO Supplier Portal (IVALUA solution), Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order, and other Purchasing applications
• Coordinate system improvements, bug fixes, and enhancements with IT and the Purchasing Digitalization team
• Manage access rights, workflow ownership, and user communities across tools such as SharePoint and Teams
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Office, and IT teams and support cross-Business Group alignment
• Provide global training and user support and create and maintain user guides and training materials

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Purchasing or a related Purchasing environment
• Strong understanding of Purchasing processes and workflows
• Experience with process ownership, process improvement, or business process management
• Strong knowledge of SAP or another ERP system
• Good knowledge of Power BI and MS Excel
• Experience with digital tools and systems used in Purchasing
• Knowledge of supplier portals, such as Ivalua, is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to identify opportunities for process optimization
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Open-minded, proactive, confident in communication, and able to explain processes and train users effectively
• Automotive experience is an advantage but not a requirement
