Reporting to the BU D&IS Business Partner for Exterior & Lighting Americas, the BU IS Project Leader for Exterior & Ligting Americas is responsible to:
- Plan, execute, and close Mono region or specific BG IS projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and achieving targeted outcomes within the scope, time, and budget
- Continuously monitor, report, and mitigate risks to avoid project disruptions and ensure strategic alignment with the BG objectives
- Lead the development of project roadmaps, ensuring all deliverables meet business and technical requirements while adhering to best practices and organizational standards
- Oversee the execution of the projects, ensuring all project teams are effectively coordinated, deadlines are met, and key milestones are achieved
- Contribute to the definition & deployment of Global IS transformation projects and ensure smooth collaboration with BGs & Group IS
Main activities:
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define the project roadmap, outlining key phases, milestones, and dependencies
- Ensure all project plans, processes, and deliverables comply with established organizational standards, policies, and guidelines
- Track project deadlines and proactively address any potential delays
- Leads the planning processes and produces regular reports covering progress-to-plan of projects in its Region
- Update the project for presentation to the VT, adhering to the official project management methodology designated by IS/IT, such as Symphony.
PROJECT TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and effective communication
- Assign tasks to team members and monitor progress against the project plan
- Oversee the creation of project deliverables and ensure they meet defined business and technical requirements
- Maintain consistent and effective communication with all stakeholders, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate coordination between Regional Teams and local teams to ensure successful project delivery.
COMMUNICATION / COLLABORATION
- Reports on project risks and issues and propose countermeasures.
- Ensures that solutions deliver the expected value throughout the entire life cycle.
- Supports business leaders in implementing the processes to guarantee solutions adoption and correct usage in the long run
- Collaborate with the VT team to ensure alignment between Regional and Global projects,
- Participate in the VT Monthly Project Portfolio meetings and present the status of projects
Required profile and experience
- Master’s degree Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and skills.
- Proven track record in managing large, strategic IS projects with high visibility and complex requirements
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in large-scale digital transformation initiatives, from concept to delivery
- Extensive history of working with C-level executives (e.g., CIO, CTO)
- Experience managing significant budgets and resources, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, and handling major risks
- Background in delivering IS solutions that align with business-critical functions, driving efficiency, and scalability
- Excellent communication and pedagogical skills. Ability to develop effective relationships with different stakeholders, across different operating BGs, functions and geographies.
- Consistently drives for results with a record of successful deliveries & accomplishments.
- Ability to prioritize and stay focused in a fast-paced environment. Analytical, structured & process oriented
- Able to work with multicultural teams. Proficient in English (TOEIC 800), another language is a plus.
- Open to travel to different locations, depending on business needs.
