  1. Develop and implement compliance policies

    • Design, update, and ensure the implementation of policies and procedures that guarantee legal and regulatory compliance across all countries in the region.
  2. Monitor regulatory compliance

    • Oversee regional operations to ensure adherence to local laws, international regulations, and corporate standards (e.g., anti-corruption, data privacy, antitrust).
  3. Manage legal and compliance risks

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks in collaboration with departments such as Legal, Finance, HR, and Operations.
  4. Conduct internal investigations

    • Lead or coordinate investigations into potential violations of internal policies or laws, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.
  5. Deliver training and awareness programs

    • Develop and deliver training sessions on ethics, compliance, and corporate policies to employees at all levels.
  6. Perform audits and reviews

    • Plan and execute internal compliance audits and follow up on findings and action plans.
  7. Reporting and communication

    • Report to senior management and the global compliance function on the compliance status in the region, including incidents, key metrics, and improvements.
  8. Support in transactions and contracts

    • Review and validate contract clauses from a compliance perspective, especially in agreements with third parties, suppliers, and strategic partners.
  9. Third-party compliance management

    • Evaluate and monitor the compliance of suppliers, contractors, and business partners through due diligence and ongoing oversight.
  10. Adapt to regulatory changes

    • Stay informed about legal developments in the region and adjust internal policies and processes accordingly
