Develop and implement compliance policies
- Design, update, and ensure the implementation of policies and procedures that guarantee legal and regulatory compliance across all countries in the region.

Monitor regulatory compliance
- Oversee regional operations to ensure adherence to local laws, international regulations, and corporate standards (e.g., anti-corruption, data privacy, antitrust).

Manage legal and compliance risks
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks in collaboration with departments such as Legal, Finance, HR, and Operations.

Conduct internal investigations
- Lead or coordinate investigations into potential violations of internal policies or laws, ensuring proper documentation and corrective actions.

Deliver training and awareness programs
- Develop and deliver training sessions on ethics, compliance, and corporate policies to employees at all levels.

Perform audits and reviews
- Plan and execute internal compliance audits and follow up on findings and action plans.

Reporting and communication
- Report to senior management and the global compliance function on the compliance status in the region, including incidents, key metrics, and improvements.

Support in transactions and contracts
- Review and validate contract clauses from a compliance perspective, especially in agreements with third parties, suppliers, and strategic partners.

Third-party compliance management
- Evaluate and monitor the compliance of suppliers, contractors, and business partners through due diligence and ongoing oversight.

Adapt to regulatory changes
- Stay informed about legal developments in the region and adjust internal policies and processes accordingly
