COUNTRY ENGINEERING & DEVELOPMENT ELECTRONICS MANAGER - INDIA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

ELECTRONICS MANAGER is responsible for the team dedicated to all electoncis activity in Electronics development. He is responsible for fulfilling the assigned tasks. He’s guided by corporate guidelines. Effectively communicates with internal partners, shares information, respects health and safety rules at work, and adheres to the all instructions.

Handling all electronics function like HW, SW, ECAD, MCAD Reliability, System/Requirements, Process Quality (V-Cycle, ASPICE & ISO 26262) and Component Engineers.

Manages and technically supervises the team of different function in electronics department.     

Coordinates the electronics design work, checks the workflow, development process-adherence, does the resource and capacity planning, this all from quotation phase to serial production.

Does the evaluation of individual performance goals of his employees by giving appropriate feedback, sets the individual training plans.

Reports to Country Director and Global Electronics Director and aligns with him on Project technologies, design strategy and split of resources.

Supports new business wins with quotes by reviewing the work of each electronics in team.

Maintains a technical expert overview of lighting electronics product development process(manufacturing processes, internal and external customer interactions)

Ensures that the team has sufficient number of working tools.

Collaborates and shares information with the international OP MOBILITY team (INDIA, US, GER, POL). Actively participates in solving the problems of all locations within the OP MOBILITY.                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Works on other tasks given by supervisor if not in contradiction with the original job description.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

During the work, respects all rules given for Health and Safety protection, Fire protection and all internal rules and legislative norms.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):

Bachelor or Master degree in Electronics(BE, B Tech, B Sc, ME, M Tech, MSc)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):

More than 12 years

Sound Knowledge of Automotive Electronics Development process and Product Design requirements.

Professional knowledge / Technologies / Methodologies

Knowledge of electronic circuits and LED driving topologies or DC-DC converters

Knowledge in Automotive SPICE

Sound Knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing requirements for Automotive Electronics

Understanding the implications of ISO26262

Sound Knowledge of EMI/EMC and Environmental testing requirements for automotive electronics.

Knowledge of MS Office products (MS Project, Excel, Word)

Experience worked with supporting / cross functional development teams

Experience in role of Project Leader or Manager in automotive development

Experience in Resource Estimation and Utilization.

Experience in Engineering Cost and Electronics piece price estimation.

Sound Project and People management Skills.
