Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly dedicated Process Engineer from Automotive industry. This role will be responsible for activities in Automation and Robotics.
Key technical competence:
- Proficient in SIEMENS PLC and FANUC ROBOT systems.
- Strong project management skills.
- Leadership qualities, with ability to synthesize information effectively; organized, rigorous, team-player, and good communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
Key behavioural competencies:

- Excellent communication and teaching skills.
- Competence in planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks.
Main Tasks / Missions:
- Support and follow the development of the OPTIMAP/OPTIPRO project, including AVP phases.
- Provide technical support in case of major or new issues.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and transfer by participating in Automation & Robotics networks.
KPI and/or main deliverables:
- Responsibility for OPTIPRO or Optimap work packages.
- Ensure HSE (100% conformity), project quality, cost, and delivery, and standards conformity.
- Own Division Standards for Automation & Robotics.
- Implement Robotics & Automation Methodology, ensuring all automated and robotized systems meet functional requirements, with responsibilities including:
- Validation plan completion and follow-up.
- Providing clear reports and follow-ups on process means modifications/implementations.
- Delivering and providing lessons learned.
- Ensuring clear understanding and execution of specifications.
Activities:
- Apply and promote HSE and quality policies, including:
o Risk analysis for PLC, robot, and HMI programs.
o Promote HSE validation.
- Assistance to Operations:
- Support operations in major or new issues with assembly processes/equipment, including:
o Automation audits on equipment/cell.
o Modifications to supplier robotic/PLC/HMI programs.
o Adjustments to robot/automation programs during tuning phases, retrofit, or reuse.
2. Participate in productivity workshops for operations.
- Customer/Industrial Project Activities:
o Validate technical feasibility of robotics aspects and participate in design for manufacturing if required.
o Support equipment specifications definition and supplier sourcing.
o Support the validation and commissioning of robotized applications, adhering to robotic equipment standards.
o Ensure methodological and technical standards are applied in all projects.
o Consolidate lessons learned into metier best practices and standards.
- Metier Activities:
o Contribute to Automation & Robotics network activities aligned with the central roadmap.
o Participate in the definition of technical standards.
o Industrialize validated solutions.
- Knowledge Sharing Activities:
o Provide basic training in Automation & Robotics within the division.
o Train new personnel, including PPA, MPM, EPM, in the development of robotic equipment standards.
During these activities, the candidate is expected to apply or ensure the application of integrated management systems (Quality, Environment, and Safety) and is responsible for part disposal in accordance with local rules.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: Engineering Technician with experience, or a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Automation and Robotics.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Robotics or PLC specialist.
- Significant experience in robotics and automation.
- Prior involvement in international projects is preferred.
- Background in the automotive industry is beneficial
