Constructs parts and products using CAD software, in accordance with POAE methodology and customer specifications.
Manages CAD files, and exchanges with suppliers and customers.

Activities
Designs and draws technical solutions (sketches, sections, partial models, global models, overall dimensions, tooling/assembly kinematics)
Generates the CAD files in accordance with POAE CAD methodology and CAD specifications of both customer and POAE.
Verifies CAD file quality by utilizing specific customer file checkers used by customer tools to check CAD file quality.
Manages CAD files flow.
Names the CAD files in TDM in accordance with the rules defined by POAE.
Updates parts attributes in PDM (volume, theoretical weight, projected area, painted area).
Updates models based on technical feasibility studies.
Uses the PO Design Standard library, TESIS, during the design & construction of CAD models, and provides feedback to EPM and Design Leader.
Performs various checks on his 3D models to ensure good quality of the final product (interferences by DMU checks, A-surface analysis of visible parts…)
Works closely with EPM / Design Leader and extended teams (Tooling Expert Department, CAE Engineer, Moldflow Engineer, etc…).
