Responsibilities

Lead overall program management activities to ensure achievement of defined business metrics, financial targets, and customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.

Drive business growth by supporting commercial activities, quotations, and new business opportunities in partnership with Sales.

Lead cross-functional program teams and ensure alignment between engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, logistics, finance, and customer stakeholders.

Secure required support from functional managers and maintain accountability for program execution across all disciplines.

Manage customer expectations and maintain strong customer relationships throughout program development and launch.

Establish and maintain effective communication processes and information flows across all functions, sites, and stakeholders.

Ensure adherence to INPRO methodologies, procedures, governance requirements, and defined program responsibilities.

Provide leadership, coaching, and supervision for Program Engineers assigned to the program portfolio.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action activities across programs and project management processes.

Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and mandatory training requirements.

Support other functional areas as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.

Activities

Program Performance Management

  • Achieve and exceed financial objectives, including EBIT, ROCE, and Material Margin targets.
  • Manage program profitability throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Control program-related expenditures and investment approvals.

Program Launch & Execution

  • Achieve and exceed manufacturing launch performance metrics.
  • Ensure successful program industrialization and production readiness.
  • Monitor and manage customer and internal timing milestones.
  • Drive adherence to APQP deliverables and launch requirements.

Quality & Customer Satisfaction

  • Achieve and exceed defined quality performance metrics.
  • Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and met.
  • Lead issue resolution activities and corrective action implementation.

Budget & Resource Management

  • Manage prototype, production tooling, and capital expenditure budgets.
  • Control program investments through Stop-Invest and approval processes.
  • Support cost management and financial forecasting activities.

Business Development Support

  • Support Sales teams during quotation and acquisition phases.
  • Assist in defining program objectives, financial targets, and success metrics.
  • Contribute to business growth initiatives and new customer opportunities.

Team Leadership

  • Define program objectives, deliverables, and team responsibilities.
  • Distribute and coordinate APQP tasks across the cross-functional team.
  • Monitor progress and ensure accountability for deliverables.
  • Foster collaboration, communication, and problem-solving within the program team.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in Program Management minimum
  • Strong experience in automotive program management, preferably within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through product development and manufacturing launches.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing EBIT, margins, budgets, tooling investments, and capital expenditures.
  • Deep understanding of APQP, launch management, and automotive customer requirements.
  • Experience managing complex customer-facing programs with significant timing, quality, and cost responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills with experience supervising Program Engineers and influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and customer relationship skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset with strong problem-solving and corrective action management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and other reporting and project management tools.
  • English required; additional languages are a plus.
