Job description

 

You will join our team in our plant in Monterrey, Mexico. Your main missions will include:

 

  1. Plant Director Support & Coordination

•          Act as an extension of the Plant Director in day-to-day operations.

•          Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and decision-support analyses.

•          Coordinate cross-functional topics that require alignment and rapid execution.

•          Support communication of priorities, targets, and expectations across the plant.

 

  1. Shopfloor Presence & Operational Understanding

•          Maintain regular presence on the shopfloor to understand operational realities.

•          Support problem-solving activities (root cause analysis, countermeasure tracking).

•          Bridge the gap between data analysis and operational execution.

•          Ensure that key operational issues are visible and addressed promptly.

 

  1. Operational Performance & KPI Management

•          Track and consolidate plant KPIs, including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, Scrap, and Absenteeism.

•          Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance dashboards for the Plant Director.

•          Identify performance gaps, trends, and risks; escalate deviations with clear data and proposed actions.

•          Ensure consistency and reliability of operational data across functions.

 

  1. Follow-Up & Action Plan Execution

•          Monitor execution of turnaround initiatives and corrective action plans.

•          Track commitments, deadlines, and ownership across departments.

•          Actively follow up with functional leaders to ensure timely execution.

•          Support preparation and documentation of management routines (daily meetings, weekly reviews, plant reviews).

 

 

Profile

 

You are a highly motivated young graduate from an engineering school or university with a first professional experience or strong internships in industrial, manufacturing, or automotive environments preferred.

 

You are a team player, a self-learner and can demonstrate leadership as well as good communication skills and ability to interact with leaders and shopfloor teams.

Open-minded and with a desire to learn, you demonstrate willingness to embark on an international career. You are rigorous, detail oriented and dynamic.

 

You are fluent in English and Spanish is a strong advantage
