Job Description

Within the Purchasing Department, you will support the Commodity Leader in defining and implementing the Innovation strategy for new commodities, while aligning projects with global commodity buyers. You will contribute to managing purchases for the Group’s “Exterior and Lighting” business, from sourcing to order placement, and ensure the follow-up of suppliers, contracts, and procurement platforms. You will also support Project Buyers and gradually take the lead on new Innovation procurement topics.

Duration: 2 to 3 years 

Main responsibilities:

You will report to the Commodity Leader. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Commodity Leader in defining the Innovation strategy for new, not-yet-industrialized commodities and ensuring its proper implementation by Innovation department stakeholders.
• Aligning strategies with global commodity buyers for Innovation projects, in support of the Commodity Leader.
• Contributing to the management of all procurement commodities for the “Exterior and Lighting” business, including purchasing injection molds, paints, raw materials, steel parts, gluing machines, etc.
• Managing the setup and monitoring of confidentiality agreements with suppliers, ensuring their renewal when necessary.
• Updating the OPmobility purchasing platform (Tempo), creating new suppliers, and monitoring changes over time.
• Organizing the agenda of upcoming Innovation sourcings, drafting reports, and updating the sourcing platform (Tempo).
• Following up and managing Innovation purchase orders once sourcing is approved and sending orders to suppliers.
• Supporting the Project Buyer according to their workload and taking the lead on new Innovation procurement projects, from defining needs with stakeholders, to supplier calls for tenders, data analysis, and team decision-making during sourcing nominations.

Candidate profile:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Procurement / Purchasing
• Intermediate to advanced level of English (B2/C1)
• Comfortable with numbers, data analysis, and synthesis
• Proficient in Office 365 tools: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
• Knowledge of SAP and PowerBI is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
