Job Description

Within the Industrial Excellence department, you will join a team of around fifteen paint process and equipment engineers at our R&D center. You will be involved in a variety of missions related to paint processes, participating in the development and optimization of painting processes, analyzing product performance, collecting and exploiting technical data, while providing operational support and advice to teams and plants for painted parts development projects.

Main responsibilities:

Your main tasks will include:

  • Digitalizing the paint process:
    You will support analyses and conduct the necessary trials for the development and implementation of new digital tools for paint application simulation.
  • Leading technical studies on comparative analysis of paint product performance:
    You will design and manage experimental plans, monitor laboratory tests, and analyze results to provide usage recommendations.
  • Developing and enriching the paint product database:
    You will collect information on the products used within the business group internationally and produce reports on product usage and dilution in different plants.
  • Providing operational support and technical advice to teams and plants:
    You will participate in painted parts development projects and provide technical assistance across the business group.

Candidate profile:

  • You are pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Product Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
  • You have an intermediate level of English (B2/C1)
  • You have knowledge of paint chemistry and formulation
  • You are familiar with liquid paint application processes
  • You have project management skills
  • You are comfortable with office tools, particularly Microsoft Office, mainly Excel
  • You are collaborative and enjoy working in a team
  • You enjoy international exchanges and cooperating with various stakeholders
  • You have strong synthesis and communication skills
  • You are curious and motivated to acquire new knowledge in multidisciplinary activities
