Job Description

Within the site’s Purchasing department, you will support the Series Life Project Buyer in managing RFQs, monitoring suppliers and projects, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
This apprenticeship will give you a comprehensive view of how a Project Purchasing department operates and allow you to develop your skills in analysis, negotiation, and project management.

Main responsibilities:

You will report to the Program Purchasing Leader. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing RFQs:
    You will be responsible for the supplier selection process. This process starts with receiving the specifications, followed by creating a list of potential suppliers, analyzing proposals, and negotiating with suppliers. It concludes with presenting the recommended supplier to management and drafting the nomination letter. This work is carried out in collaboration with business teams and category buyers to meet QCT objectives (Quality, Cost, Time).
  • Monitoring Suppliers:
    You will participate in the regular follow-up of suppliers, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and business requirements. You will develop your ability to maintain effective professional relationships and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Managing Orders:
    You will create and send orders, track payments, and ensure suppliers are paid on time. This role will provide you with a full understanding of the purchasing cycle.

Candidate profile:

  • You are pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+4/+5) in Purchasing, Business, or Engineering
  • You have an intermediate level of English (B2/C1)
  • Intermediate Spanish would be a plus
  • You are comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with strong Excel skills required
  • Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • You are curious, rigorous, and determined
  • You are persuasive and organized
