Job Description
Within the Purchasing department, you will join the chemical supplier development team. You will contribute to supplier monitoring and development, chemical and HSE risk management, as well as quality oversight and internal/external audits. This apprenticeship will give you a comprehensive understanding of Purchasing activities and allow you to develop skills in supplier management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chemical Supplier Development Manager, your role will focus on three main areas:
1/ Chemical risk management and HSE compliance:
- You will monitor the chemical products database (paints and adhesives) in collaboration with our subcontractor, contributing to product selection, ensuring compliance with the Group’s HSE policy, and improving working conditions for employees.
- You will collect safety data sheets from suppliers and ensure updates are tracked.
- You will coordinate activities with the subcontractor specializing in chemical regulations and act as the main contact with the HSE teams in plants worldwide.
2/ Supplier quality monitoring and continuous improvement:
- You will monitor and improve the quality of a panel of around ten suppliers, based on existing or newly developed improvement plans.
- You will track supplier performance indicators monthly to monitor the evolution of supplier quality.
3/ Participation in internal and external audits:
- You will participate in supplier audits, as well as internal and external audits related to our IATF certification.

Candidate profile:
- You are pursuing a Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) in Chemistry, Quality, or HSE
- You have an advanced level of English (C1/C2) and an intermediate level of Spanish (B1/B2)
- You are familiar with chemical product regulations, particularly REACH
- You understand CLP classifications and their implications
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel at an advanced level
- You are rigorous in your work and in following up on tasks
- You are persistent and able to complete your assignments
- You are autonomous while able to collaborate effectively with teams
- You have strong interpersonal skills and can communicate efficiently with various stakeholders
