INTERNSHIP - Public Funding Officer for R&D (M/F)

About the Role

As part of the R&D Performance Department, you will gain hands-on experience in public funding for innovation and Research & Development activities. You will explore the key mechanisms that support R&D investment, including the French Research Tax Credit (CIR) and various public grants while working closely with both technical and financial teams.

Start date: February 2026
Duration: Ideally 6 months (2–3 months may also be considered)

 

Your Main Responsibilities

Joining the Public Funding team, you will help assess and document R&D activities eligible for the Research Tax Credit (CIR) within the Exterior & Lighting Business Group. Your missions will include:

  • Identifying technological challenges within innovation and R&D projects and conducting state-of-the-art research

  • Analyzing and gathering supporting documentation to justify R&D activities

  • Acting as a link between R&D, Finance, and external consultants

You will also support the team in managing subsidized projects (Bpifrance, ADEME, European Commission, etc.) and ensuring proper justification of the work carried out to secure the expected funding.

 

About You

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Engineering, Materials Science, Plastics or Plastronics, Embedded Electronics, Humanities with a focus on Public-Private Relations, or Intellectual Property Law)

  • You have an advanced level of English (B2/C1); German would be a plus

  • You are proficient in Excel and Word; familiarity with Power Query or Power BI is an advantage

  • You have excellent writing and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail

  • You are a good communicator, collaborative, and able to work cross-functionally
